HDL＋（エイチディーエル・プラス）は、広島を拠点に活動するアーティスト・ラン・スペースです。2020年に「Hiroshima Drawing Lab」として活動を開始し、ドローイングを起点に、展示、ワークショップといった形式を通して、表現の実践と共有を行ってきました。2025年より「HDL＋」へと名称を改め、完成された作品だけでなく、制作や実験の過程そのものが交わる場として活動を続けています。表現が生まれるまでの時間や試行錯誤のプロセスを大切にしながら、アーティスト、地域、そして現代社会とともに変化していくことを目指しています。名称に含まれる「＋」には、既存の実践に新たな視点や関係性を重ねていくこと、そして他者との協働を通じて表現の可能性をひらいていくという姿勢が込められています。

HDL+ (Hiroshima Drawing Lab Plus) is an artist-run space based in Hiroshima, Japan. Founded in 2020 as Hiroshima Drawing Lab, the space began with drawing as a point of departure, and has developed through exhibitions, workshops, and lectures as shared practices of artistic exploration. Renamed HDL+ in 2025, the space continues not only as a site for presenting completed works, but also as a place where processes of making and experimentation remain visible and intersect. By paying attention to the time it takes for expression to form, and to processes of trial and error, HDL+ evolves together with artists, the local community, and contemporary society. The “+” in the name reflects an ongoing commitment to layering new perspectives and relationships onto existing practices, and to opening up further possibilities for expression through collaboration with others.
